The Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is building a state-based nationwide movement led by the poor and dispossessed to end poverty, systemic racism, militarism and ecological devastation.
New York is one of 40 states that took part in 40 Days of Action launching the Campaign in May and June, 2018. In this first phase, we engaged thousands of New Yorkers in direct action, political education, and cultural expression that lifted up the stories of the directly impacted and demanded that our state "fight poverty, not the poor."
Now in phase two of the Campaign, we're organizing in communities across New York to build a multi-issue, multi-racial, multi-faith, intergenerational movement prepared to work together for the long-haul. Your donations make that organizing work possible.
Thank you for being a part of this movement!
